UE sophomore Jennry Rose Rosales recorded her 2nd UAAP record and 3rd individual gold in 3 days as she destroyed the field inthe 400m finals.
Jenny clocked 56.03s, smashing the old record 56.76 of Anna Leah Hugo (1997) in the process.
Assigned to lane 3, the former Palaro standout quickly ate lane 4 after 40m and the rest of the outer lanes after the 100m mark. By the time the runners passed by the covered stage of the ULTRA (150m mark), Jenny was clearly ahead was on a different plane as with the other runners.
It was all Jenny from that point on.
Silver went to Josie Malacad (FEU) and Bronze to Neslee Angco (UE).
It was one of the fastest 400m womens finals in the country with the first 5 finishers dipping under the minute.
